To be future-focused means exploration. Exploration in design, manufacturing and materiality to create truly circular solutions. A circular economy is not a need but a must at Autex Acoustics®. As we explore new ways of doing things we build on our existing knowledge of sustainable solutions and practices which sit at the core of our business and drive everything we do. Our long-term vision is for all our products to have a closed-loop lifecycle, with local and sustainable recycling options.

Launching a pilot takeback programme for our Acoustic Soffit Liner (ASL) product is an exciting and crucial next step in realising this vision of circularity. This program allows us to take back uncontaminated ASL offcuts and panels, recycling them into new acoustic linings.

As the construction industry evolves and the requirements for great energy efficiency and thermal comfort becomes more prominent, we will see products such as ASL more widely adopted for its dual benefit as a high-performing acoustic and thermal solution. Therefore, we want to offer a circular pathway for the entire lifecycle of the product and meet the growing market demands for environmentally conscious building materials.

As a pilot program we are excited to see this initiative grow and hope it serves as a catalyst for our stakeholders to join us on this circular journey within the built environment.
