A first-time collaboration between Autex Acoustics Australia and Emma Hayes looks to combine beautiful design with high-performance acoustic solutions through state-of-the-art printing technology — harnessing the exceptional qualities of both brands.
Drawing from biophilic principles, the range has been designed to create acoustically pleasant interiors with a natural ambience. The collection includes eight designs, printed onto Autex Acoustics Cube™ and Quietspace® acoustic panels using low VOC, water-based, UV-cured inks to produce the finest colour reproduction.
“This collaboration has been a great way to complement the strongest features of our products and pay homage to Autex Acoustics’ Kiwi connection through the natural environment,” says Autex Acoustics national development manager Regan Williams.

Emma’s inspiration is largely drawn from where she lives and works, with all her designs starting by hand—from paintings, drawings, and mark-marking generated in response to the surrounding scenery. Each design is influenced by the many unique and varied landscapes of New Zealand.
Central to the Autex Acoustics x Emma Hayes collaboration is sustainable product design. Both brands work to actively reduce their environmental impact, evidenced by the fact that this entire range is carbon neutral. These actions work to fight against climate change for the betterment of future generations. This was made clear when speaking to Emma. In her words, “We have been long inspired by Autex Acoustics, their innovation in product development and creating sustainable and ethical acoustic solutions. I’m impressed with Autex Acoustics’ ongoing commitment in both upcycling and recycling products in order to extend its circularity, along with their exploration of new materials and processes in this space.”
Autex Acoustics x Emma Hayes is a unique, New Zealand-inspired project, combining the influence of the varied landscapes as interpreted by Emma Hayes and the industry-leading printing capabilities of Autex Acoustics.
